I have always been intrigued by old civilizations and their art, specially. I was recently reading on maso-american art and was charmed by their use of colour and form. The details in their wear and head dress reminded me of Bangladesh art and sculptures with similar traits. On left is a Bonampak musician found in 1940 Mexico. The details can be found on the following link http://www.papalotl.com/bonampak.html

On right, the most beautiful work I have seen in Dinajpur, Bangladesh, Kantaji'r Mandir. This picture does nothing for the beauty you may encounter upclose. The walls are covered with thousands of sculptures with minute details. Don't forget to visit if you are in Bangladesh.
